Our next accomodation was in B&B Castello di Strambinello. This small holding is private and peaceful and the host is wonderful. We got to the hotel late in the evening and were greeted by Santino and his adorable dogs. Our apartments were large, comfortable, and very quiet. I would highly recommend a stay in this house–which was saved from collapse and lovingly restored. The breakfast is held in the cozy dining room and cooked to order by Santino. Conversation between the guests was lively and we were given the tip to visit Damanhur which is nearby.
